Letter from the CEO
Welcome to CalorieKing. The year 2007 marks CalorieKing's 20th providing food awareness tools that help bridge the gap between annual dieting and lifelong weight control. Our purpose is to empower every American to make better food choices each day. With this as our purpose you may not see CalorieKing packaged with your favorite commercial diet program, but you will see CalorieKing at work, offered by your employer, or through your health plan, because we are about lifelong wellness, health, vitality, and productivity. CalorieKing, in conjunction with a medically-appropriate weight loss program, leads to weight control and less illness.
The centerpiece of CalorieKing's mission, message, product, and brand is food awareness. Over the years, we have had a great deal of help promoting this message and with it our brand. I wish to thank America’s dietitians, and diabetes educators. Since 1988, CalorieKing's respect and admiration for these professionals has grown without pause. Year after year, these individuals work tirelessly to bridge the gap between dieting and lifelong weight control, standing between their clients and a blizzard of conflicting commercial messages about food and diets. At last, as health plans and employer wellness programs begin to seek long-term solutions to escalating weight-related health care costs, dietitians and diabetes educators are being tapped for solutions. It's about time. You deserve it.
CalorieKing will continue to provide accurate, usable, and effective food-awareness tools. We will work with health plans and employers to put these tools in the homes and workplaces of American consumers. And we will collaborate with Universities and other research-oriented organizations to demonstrate the power of food awareness to American health.
If you want to learn how CalorieKing can complement your weight-related wellness program, then contact us. We welcome the opportunity to speak with you.
