Tax Day--Hooray!!! Also weigh-in day at work.

Well--first weight loss contest is done. Total weight lost = 28.5 pounds. Probably not enough to win, but enough so I'm not embarrassed. Well done, Cecily! Mini-celebration: 1 cup cottage cheese plus 16 wheat thins--WOW!!! Plus a cup of coffee with real cream--we're stylin' now!!! I had a yummy tuna sandwich from the Co-op PLUS some potato salad PLUS 1/2 a cherry-chocolate chunk cookie for lunch. But I'm done with the fun eating and it's back to the grindstone for the next contest.

TUESDAY--and it's down to the wire!!

It's almost 7. Since I'm not going to eat or drink anything, I may go take a nap for a little bit. I need to get up by 8:30 to take MIL to her doctor appointment. My weight at work (12 noon) was 146.5 and I think I can do better than that--I'll give it another try tomorrow. I weighed 148.75 at Golds on the way to work and I know I can do better than that.

After work I did 20 minutes LI cardio on the elliptical. LI and SD was essential because I don't seem to have a spare carb anywhere....

THE PLAN--A MOVING TARGET:

Monday. Weight in the a.m. is 151.5. Liquids/protein only after 10 a.m.; 60 minutes LI cardio. Dulcolax--get things empty. Drink lots of water. Light weights after work. Tan.

Tuesday. Weight in the a.m. is ______. No more than 2 oz water per hour until weigh-in; no food. Dulcolax--keep things moving. 20 mg Lasix early in a.m.? Weigh at Golds on way to work. Weigh in at work!!!! (Before Lillian's appointment) Eat < 1300 calories all day.

Is it Saturday already?!

It must be--the little clock on my computer says it's 2:10. I woke up at 1:30 or so--right in the midst of some stupid cop show dream--two weird. I couldn't tell if I was hungry or thirsty, so I drank most of a quart of water. That didn't seem to do it so now I'm having half a cup of cottage cheese. Hungry or thirsty--this should take card of the problem. As an addendum: I was drinking my water with a straw and the kitten just snagged the straw out of the water bottle and hauled it away--h...
