Wednesday, April 15th 2009Well--first weight loss contest is done. Total weight lost = 28.5 pounds. Probably not enough to win, but enough so I'm not embarrassed. Well done, Cecily! Mini-celebration: 1 cup cottage cheese plus 16 wheat thins--WOW!!! Plus a cup of coffee with real cream--we're stylin' now!!! I had a yummy tuna sandwich from the Co-op PLUS some potato salad PLUS 1/2 a cherry-chocolate chunk cookie for lunch. But I'm done with the fun eating and it's back to the grindstone for the next contest.
Tuesday, April 14th 2009It's almost 7. Since I'm not going to eat or drink anything, I may go take a nap for a little bit. I need to get up by 8:30 to take MIL to her doctor appointment. My weight at work (12 noon) was 146.5 and I think I can do better than that--I'll give it another try tomorrow. I weighed 148.75 at Golds on the way to work and I know I can do better than that.

Saturday, April 11th 2009It must be--the little clock on my computer says it's 2:10. I woke up at 1:30 or so--right in the midst of some stupid cop show dream--two weird. I couldn't tell if I was hungry or thirsty, so I drank most of a quart of water. That didn't seem to do it so now I'm having half a cup of cottage cheese. Hungry or thirsty--this should take card of the problem. As an addendum: I was drinking my water with a straw and the kitten just snagged the straw out of the water bottle and hauled it away--h...
