Plan for the morning: work on this until 4:30 or so and then go to the gym. Get home about 5:30, have BF, shower, and go to work. At this point I don't think I have anything really to do at work, so I should have plenty of time to lay out the weekend.

Weigh-in on Monday and I need to be less than 150 for a not-very-critical weigh-in. This will be doable with carb counting and a little water management for a few days. Tentative plan for the weekend: Dulc...

One day at a time--Thursday

It's 3:50 and I plan to head off to the gym as soon as I finish my coffee. I am going to walk on the stepmill and do some abs and triceps this morning.

ST going forward: I think I'm going to back to the old tried-and-true BFL plan for reps and sets. I think I'll do the "big muscle" UB and LB stuff at the gym; I can do biceps, triceps, calves, and abs along with cardio in the a.m. Or I can sneak the "little muscle" stuff in at work--aft...

Almost a new month

I have to say that May has not been particularly productive--mostly I've fooled around on my diet, my health, and my goals. I can do better than this and I'm going to over the next month--the next month end date will be July 3--the Friday we leave for Reno. July 3 is 37 days (about 5 weeks) away. So here are my tentative plans:

(1) I weighed 157 this a.m. -- not real, mostly water weight. So I'll figure 152 as a real weight-loss starting point. I have 5 weeks, so I think I can get dow...

Weight today = 152!

Obviously the first few days of this diet really do work. It will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow, because I do feel a bit dehydrated, but then again it is first thing in the morning.

Morning workout notes: Plank is up to 60 seconds hold; Roman chair is easier. Quads (esp right) are tight but will get better if I stretch often. Stepmill FB L7 for 20 minutes = 77 floors. Tomorrow I run in the morning but Friday I'll try to do L8 to see floor number. ...

Very interesting. It's certainly shouldn't be carb depletion because I'm eating lots of carbs. No excessive protein either. But I'm dropping water AND a little fat weight, too--my belly is smaller. It can't be because my GI tract is empty because I know that there is all sorts of stuff in there. I'm peeing a bunch of water away and the dehydration made me a little crampy last night, but all I need to do for that is dri...
