I think this is right. I didn't save the first stupid entry and lost it all. Damn!

Goal(s) for today: (1) drink lots of water (2) abs at work (3) walk at lunch (4) eat on schedule (5) exercise at 5 a.m. (after my second cup of coffee) (6) lotsa laundry/dishes (7) no coffee after 9 a.m. (8) determine goals for July and write them down!!

Couple of goal thoughts: (1) write a novel -- no plot? no problem! I have the kit and today I'm going to go through it with vim and vigor. This is all about quantity, not quality! (2) weigh 145 by the end of July. It sounds like a lot, but I am really bloated right now, so 5-8 pounds will be really easy. The remaining 7-10 pounds will require attention to detail and exercise. (If I can do 145 in July, 138 will be very doable for August, 130 for September, 125 for October, 120 for November. But this is looking so far ahead that it's just dreaming and not a tangible goal.)

I slept pretty good last night. I woke up a couple of times, but I went back to sleep pretty quick. A couple of weird dreams early, like when I woke up the first time, but nothing as strange as last night. I was sleeping good when the alarm went off this morning at 3:45; I was a little groggy at first, but I was ready to start doing stuff (dishes, laundry, garbage) by 5. In general, I have a lot more pep than I've had for awhile. Today will be good--I'm going to accomplish great things.

1:30 p.m. I went for a nice walk at lunch, though it was shorter than I intended. Lunch was right on track; BG = 127 at 60 min after eating. Gotta love those vegies.

Congratulations on your success! I have not read all of your blog yet, but I happened to notice that your blood pressure seems a bit low to me. Your doc is okay with numbers that low? (I am going back to read now. lol)
