Thursday--I'm on a roll

Yesterday was OK: I ate a bit too much (1637 calories) but nothing bad at all. I have discovered that those high-fiber tortillas really fill me up and keep me satisfied. Fiber, fiber, fiber!!!!!

Yesterday I also walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes when I got home from work, and I have to say it was pretty tough. I am in pathetic condition--there was a time when I could do that for hours and never break a sweat! But this will get better the more I do it. I have to get myself back in...

3 days into the new and lighter me

Not exactly a sizzling weight loss, but it's okay. I'm down 1 pound to a whopping 185. As a note to self, I know I need to drink a bunch of water today. I feel dehydrated with some major "retention" of stuff.

I have a tentative plan for my life/career:
(1) I signed up for the CNA training Feb through April
(2) I signed up for the BLS/CPR course for December
(3) I have an appointment to meet with Glenda Hill, the BSU pre-health advisor (it's only taken a year!)

I am now on Day 2

Shouldn't I have lost 30,40 pounds by now? Guess not.

I did pretty good yesterday, I ate OK, exercised some, accomplished a good deal. I'm working on a "Modified Jared/Subway Diet", the only difference is that I'm making my own sandwiches. I have found the high-fiber tortillas are really filling with relatively few calories, especially if I deduct the calories assigned to the fiber. In general, I find sandwiches more filling than most other foods--maybe it's the "hands-on...

THIS IS RIDICULOUS

It's the middle of November and I now weigh 186! Ok, enough is enough. I am going to start exercising and getting my eating under control. I will weigh 180 by the end of the month--doable since first pounds come off in a hurry. Then I am going to focus on 10 pounds per month.

THE PLAN:
(1) eat 1200 calories +/- 50 Monday through Saturday. Sunday: no more than 1500 calories. Eat wisely.

What a stupid day! I did, however, get my presentation put together and get some other assorted chores done. I also applied for a new job, though my success ratio hasn't been so hot lately. I got to get my act together.

And I need a plan. Something I will work on after the quiz tomorrow.

I'm tired and I am going to bed.
