Friday, Aug 3 2012 - Weight is good today

It is just where it was a couple of days ago, which is down from where I started. I feel really good on this "new" diet plan--a modified version of the "Warrior Diet," "Skinny Rules," Weightwatchers, and CK. The only real change is that I focus on fruits, vegetables, and ltow fat dairy protein from morning 'til dinner time; at dinner, I eat 'til I'm full (no junk). If I get hungry during the day I drink a bunch of water. The biggest difference is that I'm not spending my day thinking about eating, preparing food, eating food, storing food, planning meals, etc. The only real food preparation is dinner. I can't believe the difference! I didn't realize how much time I spent dinking around with eating--I have so much more time now. Plus I have a lot more energy, I'm sleeping better, and I'm not suffering from mid-day "brain fog." And my calories/points/protein/fat/carbs are right in line with any/all weight/fat loss plans.
I just got back from a fairly serious walk -- 1 mile in 17:32 which is speedy for me. I am in serious need of a bath and maybe a cup of coffee. Then I am going to start working on my CASPA application. To work!!!!!
Dinner may have been overdone, but it certainly tasted good. I had a bowl of clam chowder with crackers for "dessert." Outstanding.
