End of week 1

I have been doing much better on everything. My weight was down a bit today (195.50), and I could almost fasten my clothes-o-meter pants. If I keep at it, I should be able to wear them in 3-4 weeks.

I was far less jittery today, and my stomach has not been so acidy. Calories have been pretty good--less than 1600 per day. My carbs are down, and sugar intake is less. Weighed and Measured

Weight this morning was 196.25 -- up a little from yesterday, but still below the 197 mark:y:. Clothes-o-meter still don't fit (in fact, I don't see much difference), but what can I say except what's WRONG with instant gratification:frog:. Measurements are decent, too.

I slept pretty good last night--the omeprazole is helping with the acid, I think. And less acid means I want to eat less and I feel less stressed. Exercising is my biggest problem, but today I'm going to get out there and go for a ...

Weight was down

Weight was down when I weighed this afternoon after my bath -- not typically the lowest weight of the day. In fact I weighed just about 195.5, lower than I've been for awhile. It will be interesting to see what my weight is tomorrow morning.

I'm going to weigh and measure tomorrow a.m. I need to set a baseline for this project. Actually, I'm very interested to see what things are tomorrow, because I was really jazzed that my weight was down today. I'm also going to check out my "cloth...

By golly, this is TOUGH! I had one little mindless eating lapse last night -- about 1.5 oz of soy nuts before I stopped myself. The consequences weren't so much, but it was the lapse that mattered. I absolutely HAD to eat RIGHT NOW. I didn't have my protective self-talk ready, and the urge overtook my brain. It was a learning experience, for sure. Today was kind of a long day, but overall I did OK. The only overage might have been the soy nuts--that was a bit of an out-of-control moment. But at least I made a good choice for my emotional mini-binge. I need to work on my self-talk.
