I have been doing much better on everything. My weight was down a bit today (195.50), and I could almost fasten my clothes-o-meter pants. If I keep at it, I should be able to wear them in 3-4 weeks.

I was far less jittery today, and my stomach has not been so acidy. Calories have been pretty good--less than 1600 per day. My carbs are down, and sugar intake is less. I have been careful about what I chose to eat--a challenge because we do eat out a fair amount. In spite of family eating (something I really can't change), I have been more aware of what I eat and have been choosing wisely. Dinner tonight may not have been the best (KFC chicken, etc.), but I did take the skin off, did not eat any of the skin or breading, and did not eat much of the potatoes/gravy/coleslaw. I think I did well, though my weight may be up a bit tomorrow because of all the salt.

Next week I'm going to start exercising more enthusiastically. I have been a bit out of sorts because I have been working to "kick the habit," but next week I expect to be feeling better and therefore feel like exercising. Life is good.
