My exercise the past few days has consisted of rearranging my office, the bedroom, and next -- the living room and "junk room." It isn't exactly listed on the CK site, but it feels like exercise for sure.

"Fit Queens" Goals -- Week 1

Okay, I'm in for the next 10 weeks. I'm doing a weight loss challenge at the local gym, so this is one more way to keep my focus. I've never done this before, but I'm gonna give this first week a shot for 5 queens:

>>Be no more than 100 calories over target: 6/7 days
>>Consume no more than 250 calories from alcohol in ____/7 days (I like this one a lot 'cause I still get to have my Saturday drink with hubby:eyebrows: )

First weigh-in of 2013

This morning weight was 194.25! Granted, I was a little dried out, but that's what happens with standardized weighing: get up in the morning, go to the bathroom, get naked and weigh! According to my records (and CK), I'm down 2.25 pounds since last Friday. Measurements indicate that it's all body fat, so I am truly psyched about this little journey.

Down to 194.5!!! Way cool! Goal: stay here until tomorrow, weight and measure, then work on "water-gain" for Saturday a.m.

I need to go get dressed, make the bed, etc. Then I'm headed to the bank and gym. When I get back I'm going to spend some time working on biochemistry and then take the test just to see what it's like. After that, I'm going to go get my hair fixed and buy some bran muffins for Saturday weight-gain-in!

Weight Loss

I feel littler, but the scale hasn't quite caught up yet. This is a good thing for the Saturday weighins, but it is frustrating. Wouldn't it be great if the scale would drop about 15 pounds by Friday a.m. and then gain back 30 pounds for Saturday morning, and then lose it all by Monday morning? I hate to say it, but it AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN!! The reality is that I have the metabolism of a Shetland pony: I could get fat on sagebrush and sand:bang:
