I woke up last night about 2 a.m. from a nasty migraine. I wonder if night migraines are common (will have to google that).
It took a combination of drugs and sleep and more drugs and coffee to get it stopped. How annoying.
My eating has been so reasonable that I just about can't stand it. I think the self-hypnosis is really working --who'd a thunk it!
Today I have been working on my appellate brief rough draft, and it is starting to feel pretty good. It's not as tight as it's going to be, but it is coming together. It's so easy to panic over the "this week" rough draft -- the real due date is April 7 and that's what counts. Writing this feels more like work than school--it's the interim assignments that make me crazy.
But now that I'm in the home stretch it feels good.

Okay, so nocturnal migraines aren't that rare. But they are pretty awful. Apparently (maybe) related to neurotransmitter imbalance during REM sleep. It is a sad and sick thing to realize that I understand what I just wrote down. Will talk to Dr. Rick about them in a few weeks.
I am going to take a short nap. I need a break from brief-writing.
