dam it i knew if i cut my calories sooo drastically as my dr asked i wd slow down the weight loss!!! i did as he asked & started physical therapy 3 times a wk for at least 90 min each session & still only lost 1 lb this wk!!! i've averaged btwn 1200-1300 calories a day & lost 1 stinking lb!!! i thought as hard as i worked out along with all the walks it mite compensate for the calorie reduction but no such luck!!! well it's better than gaining a lb!! i've only lost 10 lbs this month & rob (my love) lost 20!!!! we both eat & exercise together!!! well better luck nxt wk or mayb the wk after!! lol!!!

Hang in there Nancey. Sometimes when you start working out your muscles will retain water so the scale might not show your results right away. Have you taken your measurements? The tape measure is a much better judge of progress, IMO.
Also what types of food are your 12-1300 coming from? I firmly believe a calorie is NOT a calorie and balanced nutrition is more important. Calories from whole grains, lean protein and fresh fruits and veggies will give you more bang for your calorie buck than white bread and processed foods.
