I was off for a couple of weeks due to some emergency family situations. On 10/17 my son was in a major car accident. His car was completely totaled but he walked away, amazingly. He did break his finger, and had a lot of bruises and scrapes but all in all, he is ok. DANG!!!!!

OMG! I couldn't stop eating last night. I WAS STARVING! I kept trying to at least keep my eating choices healthy but OMG, I was crazy hungry. COMPLETELY DESTROYED MY CALORIE TARGET!!!! :angry2: Going from eating 4,000 calories a day down to 1,500 is super hard. :cry3: So my friend suggested, set your goals to eat less in increments until I get down to the 1,500, a little at a time, so I don't feel like I'm starving. Getting There - Step By Step

Dave and I went grocery shopping last night, and purchased all the right things to eat. Not a single unhealthy item was bought. I'm so proud of myself. I even bought the reduced fat Mayo! I had to purchase some new pants, a size smaller, form a previous weight loss, because Dave was tired of my old pants falling off of me, literally! LOL So it felt really good to fit into a size 18-20, down from a 20-22. One more size smaller, and I can fit into clothes (16-18) that I haven't worn in over...

Progress with Baby Steps

Well, I intended to walk yesterday when I got home from work, and as I was getting ready to go, I stepped on a piece of glass! Put a whole in my foot and it wouldn't stop bleeding, so by the time it stopped, I had to go to bed! UGH!!!! So frustrating.

Anyways, I did log everything I ate yesterday, and even though I busted my daily target for calories, I still ate 1/2 of what I use to eat. SO I consider that a small victory! Proud of myself! Once we go shopping, it will be way easier f...

Rough Start But Trying Hard!!

Having a hard time starting but keeping at it. I keep trying to do the right thing, eat right, and well exercising is.... just difficult for me. I drive an hour each way to work, then work a 10 hour day, so I'm tired when I get home. Due to the long day, makes it difficult to cook a healthy meal.
