Survival while sick

After two weeks of being sick did not gain or loose. Felt fine for a few days but symptoms have come back. Rode this am but still coughing. Hopefully I'll be better by the weekend so I can ride long and burn some calories.

Recovering from Illness

After 5 days of being sick feel good enough to go to work but not good enough to ride. Consumption during illness has been good but not great. Wonder if calorie reduction made be suseptable to cold traveling around the office?

Setback Sick

:oCaught a terrible cold from someone with the same symptoms at work. Home for two days. Controlling the intake better than I have done in the past while sick. At the same time took the bike to the shop and need a new fork will not have it back till Wednesday. The real question is has the calorie reduction impacted my immune system leading to getting this cold? I was weak on Tuesday to make the weigh in day? Next time don't go that negative to maintain immunity....

Weigh in Today!!!! 232.4 Back on track

My weigh in was today 232.4 :). That is 7lbs in 3 weeks!! All the signs are positive. I'm down a belt loop and I'm riding stronger especially on hills. Also the lateral strength on my left leg is improved. I can actually lift it the whole way up now and then! This weeks issue has been calculating calories for eating out. Had mexican and chinese meals that I was totally guessing. The digital food scale has helped....

Mini Bonk on the ride today

Rode with the C group today waiting till 9am to start. In the end it was not worth it and should have ridden alone. :bang: Riders going any where near my pace were outright unfriendly:angry1:. I tried to start converstations seveal times and nothing. The good news is that I did put in 50 miles and burned a ton of calories. The last 45 min was difficult but I was clearly under nurished and stopped with just 6 miles to go for sugar. :dead2: Got a nap in after working on the bike and watching some football. Left ...
