I'm back now and back on track again. This is much harder than I thought it would be. I've been at this since April and I've only lost 25 or so pounds. I was down to 215, then back up again. I was down to 213, then back up again. It would seem that changing my lifestyle is going to take a whole lot longer than I wanted. I can still polish off a taco plate with extra chips and salsa without thinking twice. The only difference between now and six months ago is that I actually do think once, but that isn't enough to stop me.
Sitting there yesterday morning trying to put together a meal plan for the week was sooooo hard! I just couldn't think of the right foods. I wanted all the wrong stuff but I stayed the course and finally came up with something. So I kicked off this week the right way with high hopes of finally making my preliminary goal.
We shall see where I am a week from now.
