Yankee Doo-dee

Wednesday, January 30th 2008

"yankee doo-dee" - Cracks me up. Every. Time. Apparently my humor remains in the potty stage.

Today was a good day. Nothing hugely special. We did go for a little outing as a family, which can be a bit of a challenge for us. Not sure if other families/couples have trouble with outings on occaison or not, but we do. We just do not gel sometimes, and it can make for lots of stress and hurt feelings, and you add a toddler and infant to the mix and it can be un-fun. But - today we ha...

Chach-out!

Tuesday, January 29th 2008

I'm realizing how dependent I am on spellcheck - and how horribly I write without it, so can someone tell me how to install the google spellcheck tool bar I hear about all the time? You would never guess that I actually write for a living. My previous entry was nearly incomprehensible to me this morning when I re-read it. And I wasn't :drunk: .

Will is officially in his terrible two's. He's trying very hard to manipulate us, and when he's sick, he has even less tolerance for our non-cooperation with it. His favorite tactic for sending us over the edge (we're doing a good job at hiding it, though) is to change his mind 90 times in 30 seconds.

Ell...

EZR SMILED (on purpose)!

Thursday, January 24th 2008

Ellen smiled at us! Three times! She has a gorgeous smile - one large dimple on her right cheek and one small one on her left cheek. She is 1 month old today. I cannot believe how fast it has gone. I am so happy that I just APPRECIATE her so much - what a gift that is after Will, over whom I was just in a daze most of the time. I feel like I'm paying attention the way I should to Ellen. It makes me happy.

She is all eyes. These huge, jet blue eyes. Definitely an old soul.

Will is doing...
