View LYNNABEL's food & exercise for this day

Brief update - more later.

Got back from AZ on Tuesday - had a good time. Lost my digital camera which breaks my heart. I had so many great pictures of Ellen.

Ellen was named after S's sister (Ellen Wood Richards) who died 2 weeks after being born. Part of her brain was missing. My father in law, Noel, said to us as he was holding my Ellen with her tiny hand gripping his finger, "Ellen Wood held my finger just like this while she was being baptized." He was crying, and of course I did as well. Steve's brother said that the last time his father (Noel) cried was probably when Ellen Wood died. The two of them were inseparable the whole weekend. You could practically hear Ellen groan with pleasure each time she lay on his big belly.

Gave my director my two week notice. It went better than I'd hoped.

Will has been sick for a hundred thousand years. His cough and runny nose show no signs of getting better. And now Ellen is coughing. Argh.

:hi: Lynn!! That story made me tear up, too ~ how precious. And, sick kids? Don't I know it. Yuck! But I think Wyatt is getting used to the super-dosing of garlic in all of our food . . . and I think it is helping!

Those moments of Ellen with her g'pa can't really be held on digi-pics anyway ... those are heart moments. It sounds like a wonderful trip. Glad the resignation went well - look forward to the start of the new gig!

That is such a touching story.... And what a beautiful thing to name Ellen after her aunt.... And you are right about the massage.... Way to painful.....I can't even lean back in a chair without wincing.
