View LYNNABEL's food & exercise for this day

I'm stuck at work. My car won't start. Poor Steve has to load the kids up and come get me. What a PITA. Its a LONG drive, too.

So - for once I have some time to blognal, and I'm just coming up blank.

Questions I've had lately:
*Do marriages recover from having children?
*Do people change? For the better? (I'm thinking of myself, here)
*Can a person acquire the knack of forgiving themselves for their failures?

Thanks in part to Staci and Larry, I'm getting excited to think about our next house. There are some good ones on the market here in MN. I would dearly love a year-round lake house. And now that I work on the north side of the Cities, we could consider a year round lake house. Even if my commute is long, I will probably be able to work from home at least occaisionally in the future, so I could stand a longer commute if it meant our dream home, and only 4x week.

I think Steve is close, so I'd better go.

hopefully it wasn't too stressful of a drive home, if I caught this early enough I would have told you to stop somewhere for dinner, or if it was nice out to take the kids to a park on the way home and make it a family adventure. I hope your car is easy to fix. in my own experience I think it's a resounding yes on questions 2 and 3, I still have yet to learn about question 1. :laugh5:

*Do marriages recover from having children?
Yes, but you have to be patient and have faith that they will.
*Do people change? For the better? (I'm thinking of myself, here)
Yes, they can if they really, really want to.
*Can a person acquire the knack of forgiving themselves for their failures?
Yes, but I think it's more important to not view so many things as failures.

I think you're way harder on yourself than you should be, Lynnie. I hope your car is over whatever was ailing it.
