I weighed today at work and I was under 180--178 1/2 to be exact. I'd hate to think how long it has been since I've been at this weight.
I'm past the PMS week hungries and boy am I glad. I bought some 3 musketeers bars that are "fun size" and they are about 63 calories per little bar. So far I am serene to know they are there and I haven't "had" to have one.
Last night was a picnic for DS's forensic squad. I was feeling "weak" as in at risk for over-eating so I ate before I went. I ate a few tomatoes (cherry sized) and kept away from everything else. Made brownies for the kids, which they liked. I baked bread earlier this week and I am enjoying a slice of that here and there, too. Last night, after I got back I had some reserved calories that I didn't eat and so i put 1 T. of PB on the bread and ate it mindfully. Put me over by 40 calories or so but I'm trying not to be so obsessive.
I'm really starting to notice improved exercise tolerance, as is DH. It's nice to be in this body right now. Maybe that is the benefit of the blogs. On a frustrated or discouraged day, I'll be able to look back at this and know that I can be successful.
I'm seeking to create a sustainable level of exercise that I can live with. My goal is a mix of resistance training and aerobic exercise and stuff I can do at home and stuff I can do outside and stuff I can do at the YMCA. I'm trying not to rigid about what I "must" do because that has gotten me in trouble in the past when I couldn't sustain the "musts" perfectly enough.
What an odyssey! Onward we go.
