Getting in to maintenance

I have been on maintenance for a week now. It presents its' own challenges with "more" calories. My motto through all of this has been sustainability. My weight that I got down to has to be sustainable. My calorie restriction has to be sustainable. My activity level has to be sustainable. I'm exercising a lot--for me historically, it's way over the top. I'm doing Spinning 2-3x/week. I love it. It's an hour long class. Now mentally in order to maintain, my goal is what will I ...

On to Maintenance

I officially hit my goal weight on Tuesday and I am on Maintenance.

I feel like I've done a good job of preparing for maintenance and I am glad to be here. What I've done is read about successful maintainers (will keep doing this), post on Goals & Accountability thread which promotes a "what will I do today to be successful" approach and continue to log and weigh food. CK does not tell you to do this in maintenance. They advise that logging food is simply not a livable long...

there or almost there

When I weighed on Friday, my weight was 147 1/4. Just shy of my final goal. However, I'm still dealing with a voracious appetite and I've just been snacky, for weeks it seems. I don't know if it's weather/change of seasons, hormonal (I quit my estrogen gel to cut monthly costs), a phase or just that my weight goal may be at the low end of sustainability for me.

At any rate, unless I really get crazy and start to go majorly backwards (heaven forbid and after tonight's Vietnamese feast/fes...
