I was sharing with my niece last night who is a great friend and cherished follower in Christ with me. We were talking about my weight loss journey and I shared with her my Beck " Why I want to lose weight " response cards" as she had asked me too. Mothers Day is a day of rest for me. We celebrated our MD wed. with daughter since she has to work today. Hubby is sore from being out all day on his bad ankle. I need to give my back and feet a rest from over doing exercise a bit. It's been relaxing to catch up on some TV and have Xena cuddle up to me in my soft blue TV chair. We will go for a walk after it cool downs this evening. Although it hasn't been cool down here in a few days.
I'm going to do some reading and make some fruit freezies ...

Got up early to got to the early feature today at the I-Max to see Speed Racer and was not disappointed. It was everything a Speed Racer movie should be. There was action, kid humor, kid drama, and of course Speed coming through in the end to win the big race. You don't have to be a Speed Racer fan of old to enjoy this flick, but it did bring back memories of my brother an I sharing the TV moments together. This week I've been busy with activities and haven't had much time to spend on the computer so you haven't heard from me. I have gotten in a lot of exercise which is good since I have eaten more than usual lately. One night my family took me out. The other night I cooked something special and needed the extra cals for the special dinner. Then, I had a few low Bgs after I ran myself down with too much exercise and not enough refueling. Tonight my daughter took my husband and I out to eat at the Kona Grill in Sugarland. We were celebrating an early Mother's Day since she will have to work that day. Aaron wasn't able to join us since he had to work late. I did well since hubby and I split entree and salad and had no dessert. I managed to save 550 calories for dinner which is good since I have no idea just how many calories dinner actually was. We had a meatloaf of some kind.
