Maintaining through the holidays

I decided in early November to put the weight loss golas on hold through the holidays. My objective is to reduce the holiday stress while simply maintaining my weight. So far I have been successful (up and down 3 or 4 pounds but holding the line as designed). I am going to stay off the weight loss train until after the New Year then pick up where I left off. This is likely to be old news for many but, for me, it was an amazing discovery. I have had six blended salads this week. I find they are quick and easy, and a very tasty and satisfying way of getting a nourishing meal. The variety is almost endless and I can even toss in a few "super" veggies that I don't particularly care for and they are completely concealed in the menagerie of flavor. Joy I gain from healthy eating,
Loving salads and fresh fruit.
What I’ll do to look appealing
In a Speedo bathing suit.

Winning battles with temptation,
Fighting daily with desire,
Pushing harder on the journey -
CK forums do inspire.

I’ll forego the extra helpings,
"Pass" on sweets and “super size.”

A Little Off Track

OK, this is an excuse not a reason. There is no valid reason for eating a bacon double cheeseburger with fries for lunch yesterday but it sure tasted good. Couple that with some other intentional indiscretions and the end result will most likely be a negative loss for the week. Notice the choice of workd.
