Darn. Did not PR yesterdays 10k. It was VERY hot (race started off at 78 degrees) and hilly.... 1:07:45 (according to my Garmin....offiical results not posted yet). My last 10K was 1:04:58 (hilly route but chilly weather). Looks like summer weather is here so I will get used to running in the hot weather for the July 4th 10K!

I felt pretty good the first 4 miles and then I just pooped out. The race started at 8am....usually they start at 7am. You could just feel the temp climb between 7am...

It is Sunday and I am here logging my food! Green check yesterday:) I was proud of myself. I document every morstle that went into my mouth. We ran a ton of errands yesterday and my daughter got some snacks. I would take a bit but I documented. Those little bits really added up. They added up to about 150 calories.....

It is weekend and I am logging all my food. I plan on getting a green check today. Did a fun body circuit class and step class burned 450 Calories!

It was nice. Last night I had concession stand duty for my daughters softball team. I usually would want to eat all the snacks and food that they had. I was not even interested! Yeah. The scale finally moved in the right a big way....all of a sudden down 3 pounds.....223. It was not nice seeing it go up.

Patience, patience. it is nice to know the scale is finally reflecting my hard work and decication the past week and a half. I am still feeling great about how I feeling and managing food and how I feel physically. Hopefully I can still reach my mini goal of 221 soon.

Boy yesterday got away from me. Worked ended up VERY busy.

yesterday was good. Speed work training last night. I am really enjoying this. We will see if it helps as I am running my 10k on memorial day.
