Yesterday I met with the nutritionist! I really want to get below 200 pounds and I am tired of this roller coaster ride. Even though I have not lost the weight I have done a lot of work on eating better quality foods, I just need to be consistent with it. I really do want this marathon in October but I really need to lose some weight to make it easier. I have to start out by giving a shout out to my big brother (one of them, I have 3 older brothers). Yesterday my brother Klaus, age 45, did his first ironman. He completed it in 10:26:51. I watched his progress all day online. They had a live feed at the finish line and I saw him cross and he looked great. He did the marathon in 3:32:10 AFTER swimming 2.4 miles and biking 112 miles. He was ranked 12 in his division and 114 OVERALL. Amazing.

The scale was steady the past 2 days at 224.5. I will take that. This morning it was 223.25 BUT since after lunch yesterday I have only had sugar free Jello, Popsicles and water to prepare for the body scan today. Breakfast this morning Jello and lots of water.

Doing this diet for the test is really showing me that I really have impulsive eating habits. If I go to the kitchen to get water I get an urge to just pop something into my mouth. Because of the test I CAN'T have any foods so I...

224.25 this mornig.... whew! The 228 from yesterday scared me! Now doing speed work in 95 degrees may be the cause of the drop BUT I hydrated all day yesterday knowing it was going to be warm and hydrated after. Luckily it was not too bad last night. It was not very humid and there was a nice breeze. The workout was a Ladder = 1200/ 1000/ 800/ 400/ 200. The 1200 you run at goal 5k racre page and then you run a little faster for each of the other sets. I pretty much hit all the goal times. ...

Welll Crap. 228! I did not go crazy in Chicago. I did endulge a little but just 2 meals (I in chicago and just a little for father's day weekend). Overall I had my best eating week ever last week, 5 days out of the week was very good and just 2 meals that were not. I just wish the scale would reflect how good I feel physically.
