View SAXONHARP's food & exercise for this day

Yesterday was better than previous days. The only thing I could have done better was with birthday cake. I just love cake. I planned to have 1 piece but ended up eating 3. The thing was the cake was not really that good. I did keep telling myself this while I was eating the cake, this really is not good and it is not worth it.

Unfortunately there is still a little bit of birthday cake left. This morning I looked at it and said to myself...."remember the cake was not that good, do not eat it, it is not worth it." So I left this morning without eating a piece of cake and I am very happy about that. I have to continue to talk to myself to help me get into better habits.

I had a great run this morning. It was a 15 minute warm up, then 10 hill repeats with a 15 minute cool down. Tonight I work out with my Personal Trainer, I am looking forward to that.

Here is to a day without cake! Not because I cannot have it.....because I don't want it because it is not worth it!!!

Way to go with the cake! I am in the same boat, my husband made brownies and they are calling my name even though they are nothing special. I'm doing the LA Marathon March 17. Are you doing that one?

I do the same thing. As I am eating something that isn't that good I tell myself it's not worth it. But keep going... I struggle with trigger foods in the house...
