I had a good weigh in yesterday. I lost 2.8 pounds for a grand total of 29 pounds lost since I joined this fitness program in October. My scale said 209!!! I was so happy to see 20something. I have not seen that number since college and I only saw it for a couple of weeks. I never had ever lost weight during Thanksgiving. I am so glad things are clicking for me and that I have joined Finish it Fitness.
Other good news. FIF is having a January Take Down Challenge. Jason signed up for it. It is a 4 week challange. He will get the meal plan, weekly meeting with a trainer to review his food log and 1 fitness class per week. We will be able to support each other, he is nervous about it. The good thing is that we are going to therapy and we are able to discuss both of our fears concerning weight loss and how to make sure it is a positive experience both of us. I think it will really help Jason to be fully committed to a program. Right now he starts the day eating great but by the end of the day you can see him mindlessly eating. I don't say anything because I did the same thing.
I have a 5K scheduled for tomorrow. It is called Santa's on the Loose. We got a little snow and will get some more today too. It is pretty slick outside so I am not sure what is going to happen. It is looking like this will just be a fun 5K, I don't want to hurt myself. I have one more 5K scheduled for the following weekend, December 15th. Hopefully not ice or snow. This will be the same route I did about 5 weeks ago. It is a hilly course and it will be nice to see how much time I can take off.
I have enjoyed doing the 5Ks but I am ready for a little race break. I hope everyone has a great weekend.
