Met with trainer last night. Then walked 1.5 miles at a speed walk pace. Today I feel like I weight a ton...... REally. My body feels very heavy. Strange.......

I think I am getting better. I am back to salads at lunch and not needing to go out and find food. Work has been worse than ever, but I am hanging in there.

I wonder if anyone has read "Women, Food and God." It talks about avoiding pain by eating. Avoiding living in the moment and reliving the pain of the past. Very intense.....

I haven't been blogging, tracking or even going on the Calorie King website for a while. My mother took a turn for the worse, hospice was called and she left us on Aug. 27th. I was lucky enough to be with her when she went and did all I could to make her comfortable. However, I am being disturbed by thoughts of dying and feeling very melancholy. The only thing that helps is sitting for long periods of time and crocheting, knitting or doing other crafts.

I am finally getting back to my exercise and things. I had a great workout with my trainer last night. He’s working on my legs in hopes of getting me running. I want to run like all of you on CK do. I am old, though, and maybe can only get to jogging….. LOL. That’s okay. I just want to be able to do a 5K in October, however I can. It’s called “Running in Circles” and is on a street that goes in a circle. They have a walking part, but last time I did that, I was the last one in. They pract...

I’ve been out of the loop. This has been a heck of a summer for me. The pinched nerve and then a terrible cold that had me down for 4 weeks. I think they are both finally getting better. I haven’t been able to exercise and now I am trying to get back on the horse. I feel extremely exhausted when I try to exercise and my stamina is not very good. My trainer even stopped me from exercising last week because he though I looked pale and shouldn’t continue. But I am slowly getting more and more ...
