I have been fairly good this week. I am getting used to my eating plan which basically consists of protein, fruit, veggies and limited carbs. I thought I would miss the carbs, but so far it hasn't been that bad.

Evenings remain a challenge - I tend to snack and then oversnack. This is an area I need to work on, but I am not unhappy with my progress thus far. After all, Rome was not build in a day....

Day 1

Yesterday didn't go too badly. I managed to go over my calorie target but still got my green tick=D

The most difficult part of the day was definitely the evening time. After supper when I have finished clean the kitchen and dd is in bed, I start studying and grazing.... I did fairly well last night, but it can be better.

I feel if I can control my evening munchies I will do so much better with losing weight....

Exercise must be priority

Over the weekend I decided that exercise would have to be a priority if I am to succeed with this weightloss battle.

I decided to go to the gym every day during my lunch time.

This morning I got to work only to be informed our lunch times are being shortened. I still went to the gym, but managed only a 20 minute workout and quick shower before I had to be back at work. Better than nothing, I suppose.

If I can exercise 3 x a week consistently I will be happy. So, I am aiming for ...

Starting over again

Today I am starting over again. I took my measurements this morning and weighed in - shocking to say the least.

Day times are ok, nighttimes are the problem. I tend to snack and snack and snack....

Weight: 198.8 pounds

Measurements:

Neck: 15
Bicep (l): 13,5
Bicep (r): 13,25
Chest: 41,25
Waist: 38
Hips: 44
Thigh (l): 26
Thigh (r): 26
Calf (l): 15
Calf (r): 15.25

I will weigh everyday and take measurements once a week to track progress.

Fallen off the wagon

The past 2 weeks have been a blur - work has been hectic, weekends were hectic with people to visit, places to go. I have not been dieting, just trying to watch what I eat, but I did pick up a pound.

I need to get back on track, starting asap!
