Hello! Week 3 of our little group challenge! If you are new to this this is the way the challenge works:

To start off:
Minutes Goal
Help us work together as a team to meet or exceed our minutes exercise or activity goal. As the minutes are recorded throughout the week I will keep track of the group levels.

KCal Goal
Each individual will tell me what they would like to burn in terms of calories for the week. I keep track of who has recorded & burned as it goes into the group goal.

You can participate in EITHER or BOTH goal challenges - it's up to you!

At the end of the week, I will also post how we as a group did compared to how we planned.

The goal of this challenge is to motivate you to set a goal number of minutes each week and try to attain or even beat that goal.

If you want to participate this week, please let me know:
- Which goals you would like to participate in (minutes / kcal or both)
- What your goals are for the week (how many minutes/calories would you like to burn)

If everyone can add your amounts that you want as a personal goal, I will tally everyone up for our group goal.

Then when you exercise and have a chance, post to this thread! Also, in your post, please tally up your minutes and calories so I have a check figure for my spread sheet. It makes like so much easier to have a check figure. That is the accountant coming out in me! Thanks so much!

The challenge starts each Monday and ends each Sunday at midnight!! Have a fabulous week everyone!

My goal is 200 min and 2000 cal as I did the first week. The semester is crunching down on me big time and I can barely get out of the house because of my school work.

Today started my week for exercise. I did 30 minutes of housework and burned 216 cal. I also went for a walk with a friend for 60 minutes and burned 424 cal. Total for today 90 minutes and burned 640 calories! =) Great start!

Alright I did 90 min of cleaning cars and the house and burned 630 calories!

I believe my totals for this week are 330 min and 2193 calories! =) I'm finally starting to accept that even if I don't go to the gym the things I do around the house count. Hope everyone met their goals!

my last entry for this wk is 48 min. sorry about the late post!! gayle i can't find last wks exercise min i apologize maybe i don't know where to look but i think that brings me to 344 min for the wk!!

Hey! I think you can... if you go back to that week in the diary. I have been able to look back if I use the date arrows to look back at a previous weeks food and exercise. Hope that is what you are looking for. Let me know the week and I will pull your info from my spreadsheets.

ok gayle!!! i went bak as u suggested in my diary & my totals for this wk are 362 min!!! whoooo hoooo!!! 4 me that is absolutely amazing!!!!! yea!!!! thank u 4 the help gayle!!! u really are a wonderful person to take all the time to do this & to help & encourage all of us here!!! ty ty ty!!! people like u keep me from driving all my friends away by constantly talking about my progress or failures in trying to lose this 2nd person i carry around!! i know i hate it wen i'm in my regular eating pattern & have 2 constantly hear how someone else is dieting!! i love my friends & don't want to make this their struggle 2!!! lol!!! hope ur day like u is gr8!!! peace 2 u & urz till nxt time!!!
