Group Challenge Week of March 22

Hello! It is the group challenge thread as promised. If everyone can add your amounts that you want as a personal goal, I will tally everyone up for our group goal.

To start off:
Minutes Goal
Help us work together as a team to meet or exceed our minutes exercise or activity goal. As the minutes are recorded throughout the week I will keep track of the group levels.

KCal Goal
Each individual will tell me what they would like to burn in terms of calories for the week. I keep track of who has recorded & burned as it goes into the group goal.

You can participate in EITHER or BOTH goal challenges - it's up to you!

At the end of the week, I will also post how we as a group did compared to how we planned.

The goal of this challenge is to motivate you to set a goal number of minutes each week and try to attain or even beat that goal.

If you want to participate this week, please let me know:
- Which goals you would like to participate in (minutes / kcal or both)
- What your goals are for the week (how many minutes/calories would you like to burn)

Then when you exercise and have a chance, post to this thread! The challenge starts each Monday and ends each Sunday at midnight!! Have a fabulous week everyone!

Since I'm still new to all of this I am setting a goal of 200 min and 2000 calories. Not sure if that is a balanced number or not for the amount of exercise, but whatever we'll see what happens.

Sunday is the last day!! Then we rev up for Monday!
Absolutely awesome group here!
Yesterday I worked outside -- Yay gardening!
125 minutes of tilling, hoeing, planting, overall fun stuff! 1027 calories!
And it will be worth it if we get our vegetables for the summer!
Thursday was filled with walking..... 60 minutes / 768 calories
Wednesday 60 minutes / 698 calories!!

My totals:
305 minutes/3236 calories
Remaining:
95 minutes/1964 calories
Whew!

Thanks so much! I got on a treadmill, 2.5 mph incline gradually increased to 9 then slowly declined to 0 over the course of an hour. Heading to the gym again today for another hour, goal is incline 10!

Just got back from the gym. Tried a different machine! Did the arc trainer for 45 minutes, burned 530 cal!! Woo!!!
