Hi All,
I'm new to CK and looking to connect. I have over 100lbs to lose. Pushing 40 need to take control before my health gives out. Busy mom and wife with 3 boys and full time career. So far I've hit my calorie target for a week, but am having trouble getting moving. I think I need to take baby steps.

Amen Celest! You definitely need to take baby steps at the beginning to avoid getting overwhelmed. We're so GLAD to have you here. By the way, you are where I was back in April - pushing 40 with 100+ lbs to lose. So hang in there and make changes daily to eat and live a healthier lifestyle. Your boys deserve a healthy mom that will be around. And what a great example to show them that living healthy is a priority. You will get there! I believe what I read some time back that it takes 13 days straight doing something new to develop or lose our habits. Try adding or removing something every two weeks to get you to your goal. Or if that doesn't work for you, find what does. Good luck to you!!
