Weekly Health Goals for Jan 14 - 20

Hope I'm not the only one still out here?

Okay, I didn't do so great with my goals for last week, so I'm going to try the same ones again this week.

1) I will log on to CK every single day.
2) I will log everything I eat/drink, even the bad news.
3) I will not binge eat.

To me number three means that, for this week, it's going to be okay if I overeat a bit. If I eat some junk. If I don't hit my calorie targets. I'm deeply troubled, and I need to start over, taking small steps. So, for this week, I'm just going to focus on avoiding the crazed binge eating - as in eating an entire package of chips, or cookies. If I can just hold off on that for a week, that'll be progress.

One of these days I'll get to figuring out why I've gone so far wrong. But right now I'm hunching down and trying to handle what I can.

Hope everybody else is doing well.

Came down with bad cold. Not flu. So, really not moving around much, but the calories are OK, as I have no sense of taste, and whatever. doing OK with logging this week. Just harder to do much else. Gail

No head-bashing! :-) Nobody said this was easy.

I'm still not back into the swing of logging every bite, but at least I'm checking in here, and thinking about it again.

Hi Toni and Gail - I too am trying to get back to logging- you do so great for months- then you stop - and it's HARD to get back into the swing of it- but I am trying... I want to be down SOMETHING in January- so far I'm up 2 lbs - :bang:

But I too will keep trying!

Gail! I would say that stable with 2 pounds over FOUR YEARS is amazing. Congratulations to you. How can you even think that's bad?

I'm up waaaaay more than that in just the last 6 months.

No doing so good with my goals just for this week. Didn't sign in and/or log for the past couple of days. In my own defense, I've been crushingly busy - as in 12 workdays. Up at 4:30 this morning and am using my lunch break to log in here.

I'm trying. I'll get there.

No - you are not alone. I share your goals. Anyway, I checked this week, and I'm up 2 pounds over the last 4 years. In some ways that sounds bad, but you know what, I'm OK with that. I share your situation! Gail
