Weekly thread for January 7-13

Hi everybody.

I've been off track - not posting here, not taking care of myself.
Time to step up and get myself together.

I'll start the weekly goals thread again - see if anybody else is still here.

My 3 goals for the week are:
1) start logging into Calorie King regularly again
2) fill in EVERYTHING I eat in the diary.
3) related to #2... quit binging. It'll be okay if I don't hit the target calorie number, but I've just got to stop the out-of-control binging.

Baby steps.

Sounds like me. I learned something today that may help me. I tend to eat too much salt, and I also like a glass of wine or 2 with dinner. Apparently, drinking alcohol stimulates salt cravings, and for me that means things like potato chips, etc. Hope to get the "out of control binging under control.

I'm also trying to get back to recording all food, and trying to stay within the very ample calorie target I have.

Well, I'm still overeating, by waaaaay too much. But at least I'm here on CK and logging everything. That's 2 out of my three goals for the week.

Great! I'm running a bit under in calories, but haven't been doing any exercise, so not hungry. I seem to be hitting my mix of fat, carbs and protean anyway. Gail

Good job Gail.
I'm sorry I've forgotten - Why aren't you doing any exercise? Are you injured?

I know what you mean, when I eat write, fresh and healthy food, I'm usually not hungry either, no matter what the calorie count is. Cravings are a whole different thing than hunger.
