i AM VERY SAD. I have gained like 15 pounds over the last 2 weeks. I know I gained weight when I was at my daughters for a week because we ate pasta just about every day. I want to kick myself in the butt!
Well Im going to start back at square 1 and modify my eating habits to the way it was when I first started CK. As I was losing pounds I was adding more foods that I wasnt eating, but in moderation. Told my husband no more cookies till I get these pounds off again.
Its not going to help me much. Im on crutches until further notice. My knee has been giving out on me and after a trip to the ER, the dr. told me he thought I tore a cartlidge. So all Im doing is sitting around. BUT Im working on an afghan for Christmas gift and I cant eat while Im doing that so that is a good thing.
Wish me luck and keep me in your thoughts.

<hugs> It goes on a lot easier than it comes off.
Somebody posted a great quote on my blog a while back. Can't remember it exactly, but the gist is that failure is not falling down, but staying down. So you're not staying there, so this is not a failure.

Sounds horrible about the crutches. I'm so sorry. But don't forget, just because you can't be on your feet, you CAN still exercise. You can still do upper body exercises. Move those arms! If you don't have hand weights, use cans or bottles of watter. Google "chair aerobics".

Keeping your body moving will help the injuries heal faster.

You hang in there.

Up nort'

If this was easy, we wouldn't be overweight.

It's kind of like the movie "Groundhog's Day"...........we need to repeat it over and over until we learn what we can and can't do.

Once we learn, we can move on.

Until then, it's "They say we're young and we don't know" going over and over every day as we try to do it OUR way.

No change = no change.

May we all be filled with sisu - the tenacity to keep fighting the good fight!
