the truth is i kinda just gave up..*since i was having my total knee replacement*
and i'd get there *after* my surgery:$ (famous last words)

some how or another i ended up with a virus that settled in my middle ears and eyes...
it's been 3 weeks now...and i'm just beginning to feel better:y:
BUT the Dr's canceled my surgery because they fear my virus is still lurking
soooo, i wasted all the time:cry4:

so, hear i am i logged today :y:
not the best but, i'm working 15 hours kinds just happened
getting overly hungry is my biggest quickest was to a binge:afraid4:
( the good thing is i won't get home till 11pm and i have no money till friday HA!)

so the truth to it's a life style not a diet is something i really need to adopt
in my thought process.......
every meal is a new start......if i blow one be better for the next....:y:

i'm at my end of the rope and enough is enough....i will be successful
i will make the right choices, i won't bring crap into the house
beer is not a food group:bang:

i think if i say these things to myself over and over again....sooner or
later it will stick right ? :laugh5:

Good for you! I also had to get my mind convinced that it is a lifestyle changer not a diet. I also had a partial knee replacement. I worked in a fast food resturant for 11 years and ate the food there and that didnt help me at all. I have not worked for almost 2 years now because of my knees. I am hoping that if I get some of this weight off I wont have as much trouble . You said beer is not a food group, Chocolate isnt either. At least I dont think thats changed,:cry4: Anyways I have found that if my family supports me I will be good. I have friends on face book that also support me(keeping in mind that I personally know my facebook friends). I just got a Tai Chi DVD in the mail today and as soon as I finish this post Im gonna pop it in the machine and see what it is like.:afraid2: Will keep everyone posted on progress. If I can do it anyone can because I am the biggest procrastinater alive. GOOD LUCK.Vicki the bookwitch

working in fast food HAD TO BE HARD!!!
i am so lucky to be one of those people who don't care for chocolates
but, i still have treats i can't resist!

how are your knee's doing now ?? i can't wait for mine....
i just started Pilates, tai chi looks good to i'm looking for more
knee friendly workouts (not ready for the pool yet) and boot camps (which i love)
and just painful to even try again

basics!!!

:wave1: Working in Fast Food was terrible, since I ate there for free everyday. My knees still give me quite a bit of trouble. I never leave my house without my cane. Im hoping that once I get some of this weight off that they wont hurt as much. I still may have to have surgery because most of the shock absorbers in my knee is gone. We will see. Im not scheduled to go back to my orthopedic doctor ,so when I do go back I hope to have lost some of my belly and shock him. My diabetes doctor that I saw the other day fist bumped me. And believe me when I say I almost fell over because he is not that kind of a person or at least Ive never seen him as such. Maybe hes one of those doctors that when they see improvement on what they tell you then they arent so strict in their manner. who knows. My new breakdown on carbs and such are for a 1600 calorie daily plan it is 45 carbs per meal, up to 60 for the main meal if needed and 15 carbs for each snack. 8 oz of lean meat per day, 60 grams of fat and 7 tsp. of fats such as margarine, salad dressings and so on.Those 7 tsp is not included in the 60 grams of fat. The doctor and dietician seems to think that I should drop weight with this. So again we will see. I cant wait to start my Tai Chi workout. I got this because it looked like it would be easy on the knees. Vicki the bookwitch
