Getting back on the horse... AGAIN.

I don't know about everyone else, but I have really struggled staying consistent and motivated . I re-joined CK in January, and since then it has been my "Everest" to stay on track. My job keeps me running around like a crazy person, where some days I don't even get a break. So eating on a regular schedule is sooo hard. Usually I'll just stick to eating a back of Cheez-itz to fill me up really quick... not good. I always tell my self every morning, "Ok Mandy... we're going to go to the gym and get a good work out in and pack a good lunch for work today." ... never happens. I have the worst self image right now... and I want to work hard to reach my goals but after really long crazy days at work, all I want to do is curl up on the couch and do nothing. Anyone else suffering from anything similar with tips to help me get back into gear??? :bigeyes3:

Can you go to the gym before work? I won't, as I am a horrible morning person-but that would eliminate the whole "gotta work out but I'm too tired when I get home from work" thing. On paper it sounds good. pack your lunch the night before---or pack a couple of lunches on Sunday so they are all set.

Get a pedometer, with all that running around you are probably racking the steps, and use the step tracker option on CK to set goals from there---use what you've got going for you already!

if all else fails, through a 100 cal pack of cheesits and an orange in your purse and out the door---balance a high salt food with a fruit for good portion control and mindset.

I'm with you though, some times it is blugh. but you can do it, for some reason, you have kept your membership on CK since January, so dig deep and write down your motivation behind losing weight and that may rev your engine a little bit.

Keep yourself accountable. I easily step off the path when I'm not accountable to someone or something. :]

I'm REALLY struggling with motivation this summer! High temps have me craving air conditioning & avoiding anything that produces sweat. :) I've begun bribing myself with pedicures, frivolous magazines, etc. if I work out 4 days a week. So far this is working...
