While us 20-somethings have a young metabolism on our side, we also have quite a bit working against us.
Active social networking, even for young professionals, often entails dinners out, cocktails, late night Taco Bell runs with friends.... etc.
Many of us have not yet grown into culinary geniuses. We are forced to subsist on pizza and fast food. Though many of us may try and make the "healthy" switch to Lean Cuisines, Smart Ones, and Heathy Choice Entrees, these are still loaded with sodium. It seems we just can't win.
I will admit that alcohol is hindering my own personal weight loss. Just one drink after work turns into 4, and before I know it, that "last" meal of the day I had just a few short hours ago becomes the "second to last" before I force myself to go to bed.
Can anyone sympathize with any of this? Or am I just a big whiny baby? haha
