Hi Everyone ... I am originally from SW Manitoba (very, very rural MB) and have been on the West coast (Greater Vancouver) for coming up to 20 yrs. I will jog-run the May 09 half Vancouver marathon and slow walk the June 09 Winnipeg half marathon
For the past 25 years I have varied in weight by about 35%. I am short and small framed, so my food, exercise, and body measurements will only make sense if my low RMR (I only need 1250 calories per day to maintain .... to lose one pound per week without exercise, I can consume no more than 700 calories per day ... and I burn few calories during exercise). So, when I say my target in 97 lbs, that is a healthy 19 BMI for me.
