what are we saying?

Good Sunday to you sisters!

verse for today:

Don't use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.

Ephesians 4: 29

So we say...phew, we're ok, we don't swear, or treat others badly...just a minute...our thoughts are words we speak to ourselves. Do we have complainy spirits? Or gossipy spirits? Just because we haven't said it out loud, does not mean we haven't said it!!! If we are truly thankful, there is no room to complain when we're stuck in traffic, or in a long line at the grocery store...

we hear our own words. What are we saying to ourselves every day? One thing is for sure: from the abundance of a man (or a woman's) heart he speaks...sooner or later it's gonna come out. Let"s be positive with ourselves and with others.

Have a great day sisters! I'm off to breakfast with my husband.

Very nice reminder, again perfect timing for me. I have noticed that the first reaction in me lately has had a harshness, it actually has been puzzling me, and I try to get rid of it, but my frustration can come out at my kids lately. It's hard to learn not to get frustrated with myself, life can be just so confusing and harsh sometimes, I struggle with my inner reaction........It's just another reminder that my heart needs healing/compassion:).

Have a great day!

I got to church this morning, and you'll never guess the passage the pastor chose: Ephesians 4! I was happy to hear God confirm what I received already this morning. The pastor was saying...instead of focusing always on what's bad, we have to speak God's truth! Very cool!
