Hi, I'm new to CK but not diabetes. I was diagnosed back in 2006 and so far I've used metformin to control my blood sugar. Lately my blood sugar levels have been all over the place and it's motivated me to get back to eating better. My doctor has suggested carb counting but I'm not very familiar with it so I joined CK to help me with that. Does anyone have any tips on using CK to steady my blood sugar?
I also work full-time where co-workers bring goodies all the time. I also need some tips to resist the goodies and co-workers who bring the goodies.
My first goal is to lose 10% of my body weight. I need to do something now so I can hopefully stop or lessen the complications of diabetes of which I'm beginning to experience.
