My Thanksgiving Feast is as follows:
Roasted Butternut Sqaush Soup
rye toasts with sausage and cheddar
Turkey with Gravy
Sweet Potato Casserole
Green Bean Casserole
Giner Honey Carrots
I know that this meal alone will set me WAY over my calories for the day. I plan on substituing low fat ingredients where possible and I make everything from scratch using fresh ingredients so I hope that will help a bit. I plan on cooking a traditional turkey for the family and then getting some turkey cutlets to cook for myself so I will avoid going nuts over the buttery bird.
What is everyone else making this Thanksgiving? Anyone have good tips on how to make the holiday a little more calorie friendly?
