I an new to this group but chose to try it because I am definately a slow loser, or maybe a no-loser. I joined calorie king almost 1 month ago. The first week I lost 3.7 pounds and not an ounce since. when I joined, the the calculator thing said I needed to eat 1500 calories a day, but I see most of you only eat 1200. I do walk 30 minutes each day and could float out the door from the water I drink. Should I drop my calorie intake? I have been this way all my life. I had thyroid testing. Normal results. I weigh 217 and for the years I have tried unsucessfully to reduce using every program under the sun. I just loose the same 5 lbs and gain them back and never get any lower. I am passed discouraged, passed motivated and now just ashamed. I really don't want to have weight loss surgery, but I don't see much choice in the future. Any ideas would be appreciated. Calorie King was probably the only thing I had not tried. ccrd58
