I am new here and I too seem to lose weight slowly, or that's what seems to be happening. I need to lose 40 pounds and am over 40 and I am female!!! HELP!!! The odds against me are stacking up!!!

Hi Patch,
Are you new to the CK program, to dieting, or just to this group? The best advise is to keep your daily food diary up to date even if you over shoot your calorie limit. If you publish your diary I can take a look at it and might be able to make a suggestion. Do you exercise? It is great for your overall health, adds calories to your daily limit and keeps your metabolism reved. I am 53 and lose 1/2 to 1 lb. a week. It does add up but the older you get the slower it comes off. I am just realizing that now. Good luck and don't give up.
