Aaaggg!

Hi there! I will 63 y/o (on 8/2/10). I have been a member of CK for about 1 1/2 yrs. I weighed 154lbs. The first year I joined, I eventually lost 8 lbs (down to 146 lbs which wasn't bad) and maintained that weight for about 8 mos. Then I had to go on prednisone and gained 5 lbs back. Now I cannot lose any weight. I have been logging my calories and exercise 5-6 days a week at least 30 minutes. I mainly use the 13 min mile walk DVD's by Leslie Sansome (that is approx. 5mph walking), but also do some 10 minute Solutions DVD's, pilates, etc. Did I mention I have arthritis all over my body? Well, that really puts a damper on the exercising, but regardless, I exercise thru the pain. I also, when the weather permits, play 9 holes of golf walking and carrying my clubs. So, I think I do well on the exercise front. I sometimes go under 1200 calories and sometimes go over, but try to hit the calorie target as much as possible. OK, that's the sad story. I don't know what else to do. I eat healthy food: protein, veggies, fruit, dairy, flax, whey protein shakes, you name it. I cannot lose the 5 lbs I just gained back.
OK, I have now told someone else and it is no longer just a voice inside my head driving me crazy. Thanks for letting me vent. Any encouragement/help is greatly appreciated!
