Need suggestions

I'm a newby, 57 years old, and hate to exercise! I can usually control my eating during the day but in the out. Any suggestions?

I exercised for 90 minutes yesterday on the treadmill and tonight for an hour. Food cravings are curbed with regular exercise! I don't feel as depressed as I did before too.

glad to be of assistance. I am going to have a kiwi-strawberry one now. Have a good day tomorrow. Keep the faith!

I will try the fruit bars to see if this will help...pineapple sounds delicious! I didn't go too crazy with the carbs tonight due to the walking you suggested. Thanks so much for your help. :smile1:

the faith - from one who's numbers rose over 2 lbs this past week. we can get this, i know we can. Will be here for you. meanwhile: consider walking or other exercise as a way to reduce carb cravings in the evenings. not sure why but it seems to work. also, recommend getting some frozen fruit bars. at only 80 calories, they can be easily saved up for during the day. I am enjoying the pineapple. :wave1:

Since my husband's been out of work for the past five months, I can't seem to keep away from carbs at night. I have grazed on pretzels, cheez-its, almond joy bars and then to ice cream until I am satisfied. Fifteen pounds later in nine months I am mortified that my pants aren't fitting me like it used to. Now my plan is to exercise daily, eat more fruits and veggies at night instead of junk food. Hope my plan works and my husband finds a job soon.:)

Evening eating is hard to control. I think that some evenings I could eat the arm of the sofa if someone would hand me the ketchup bottle. So, instead, I try to save some calories so it doesnt hurt me too bad. keep pm snack to under 100 calories. the skinny cows are good - cut one in half and eat it slow. If I dont have calories left I will drink a warm beverage like boullion or a grain beverage like Roma or Pero. This seems to help. then grab a melatonin and dive for the pillow. forget the carrot sticks, though, they are very unsatisfying. BTW, since I started on Probiotics I dont have as many food cravings. I have the same problem. I try to keep busy and stay out of the kitchen. sounds easier said than done.
