New and getting a slow start

I joined calorie king almost 2 weeks ago and have only had one day where I kept to my calorie count and kept my diary. I decided I better look for some friends because this time it is harder than ever. I lost 22 lbs in the fall by just using the free tools but have gained over 1/2 back since the holidays. Hope to get and give encouragement.
I am 57 and will be having knee replacement surgery in April, so my exercise is limited to stationary bike and some stretching and weight machines at the health club.

I joined about 2 weeks ago, I've been logging in every thing I eat. Just being aware of my calories is a big help. I get hungry a lot and I love carbs!! I quit smoking in June and gained back all of the weight I had worked so hard to lose. I'll be 51 next month and the weight sure doesn't come off as easily as it used to.

:hi:Welcome back, Becky. This is a good time to get back into gear. I had foot surgery some years ago and gained a lot of weight because I could not move much. I wish I had the tools that CK makes available, back then. So, I wish you every success with the program and also with the surgery in April.
