1.) When I was immiedately post op I found a water that i would sip from that came with a strap, and to this day that thing goes with me everywhere (of course after 7 years I have gone through many) :) WATER IS A MUST

2.) I am not perfect at this everday, but I bought a pedometer and I wear it as I know how many steps I have taken and I challenge myself so take more steps each day or park away from the door at a grocery store and walk.

3.) Good or bad... Because after 7 years I do have bad weeks... I weigh myself every week... I have to hold myself accountable

4.) Taking my vitamins, calcium everyday

5.) I am now only just going back to the basics however of getting into protein first... and we will see on Saturday if this week was successful. Since earlier this year I was trying Weight Watchers and doing points and although I dont think weight watchers is a bad program, it just doesnt work for my body anymore and we all know our bodies now.

What have you found to work for you?

1. FLUIDS.
2. PROTEIN
3. CHEWING
4. CHEWING
5. CHEW... well you know the rest of that.

The greatest key for my stick to it ness is that I have finally allowed myself some breathing room. Instead of getting angry at myself if I stray a bit, I give myself permission to know it is not the end of the world.

Good for you. I know like yesterday someone had offered me Peanut Butter cake, now I dont know about you, but I had never heard about that but it was similar to a chocolate sheet cake my mom used to make that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.... so I just had probably a tsp try and it was wonderful, but I could tell just with that little itty bitty bite that it was sweet and rich.

The frosting alone probably would have made me gone into dumping had I had a larger piece so I am gald I only tried that little dime size piece.
