What are your weight-control goals?
I want to do more than reach my goal weight. I want to maintain my goal weight for life. I had previously lost 100lbs but gained it all back because I didn't change my lifestyle or make permanent dietary changes. I'm ready to make permanent changes now so I can keep the weight off for the rest of my life.
What is your motivation for losing weight?
I wanted to avoid the health problems that were awaiting someone of my size. They were actually already beginning to show their ugly heads! But equally as important, I just to feel and look better.
What is your weight-loss method?
I track every bite I put into my mouth and keep the calories within a tolerable range so I can lose weight but not be miserable. Everyone says the weight you lose slowly stays off and it's true because you internalize the changes you made and they become part of your lifestyle instead of merely a diet you start and stop when you reach a goal.
What obstacles have you encountered while losing weight?
Working 12 hour shifts interferes with my need to have a regular daily exercise routine.
What tips do you have for others who are trying to lose weight?
Get a digital scale and weigh EVERYTHING and log EVERYTHING you eat!!! It's really easy to 'forget' your dietary indiscretions otherwise.
How do you feel now that you're achieving success?

I like the ability to log my food and exercise in the Food and Exercise Diary. Being able to enter menus ahead of time is also handy. But I really like the way I can track the entire history of my membership so I can look back and see what worked and what didn't. I let my membership expire for a few months but when I renewed all of my history was still there. I also find reading the forums helpful.
