Big Bobbo - before

Big Bobbo lost 260 lbs!

What were your weight-control goals?
To lose one pound at a time, but make it to the final goal of 250 pounds.
What motivated you to lose weight?
Wow, so many things. My biggest reason was that I wanted to live. I didn't want to be trapped in a 670 pound body any more!
What was your weight-loss method?
Simple and to the point. Eat less and move more! I started with a little walking each day and am now up to going to the YMCA five days a week. I do one hour on a bike, walk one mile on a treadmill and use the Life Fitness circuit training equipment. Boy does it ever seem to make a difference!
What were some obstacles you encountered while losing weight?
My biggest obstacle was ME. I just didn't care about anything. But once I got on a roll, my attitude changed and things just went the right direction. It is tough being in a social setting though and having to pass up on the food choices others around me are eating.
What tips do you have for others who are trying to lose weight?
DO NOT QUIT!! Every day, tell yourself that you are in it to win it, NO MATTER WHAT! If you feel extra hungry, drink more water. The more water you can drink, the better. Also, take a daily multi-vitamin! It is crucial.
How do you feel now that you've lost weight?
So much better. Even though I still have weight to lose, having 260 pounds less to lug around is like night and day. Energy is a big thing too. My blood pressure is fairly good, my glucose levels are fine and my resting heart rate has gone from 110 (!!) to a nice 78 bpm.
How have the products or services offered by CalorieKing assisted you in your weigh-loss journey?
I use the food charts all the time. Also, even though I do not post to the boards as often as I should, I find the input from all the people a big motivator. Peer support is a BIG help!

Is this the right time and program for me?
