What motivated you to lose weight?
Poor general health and ashamed of the way I looked.
What was your weight-loss method?
1500 calories ave. per day plus a LOT of exercise. Started Christmas day 2002 and today 110 later is Aug 6, 2003.
What were some obstacles you encountered while losing weight?
Really none - everyone was helpfull.
What tips do you have for others who are trying to lose weight?
Exercise has to become a way of life not a thing to make time for. Keep plenty of snacks around: no fat jello, raw carrots, air popped popcorn. WALK! WALK! WALK! Use a treadmill in winter or bad weather.
How do you feel now that you've lost weight?
Like I quit carry around a 110 pound person on my back all day. My engery level is extremely high now. I run about 6 miles a day now. Sleep fantastic! NO MORE SNORING.
