Award Winning Guacamole
This dip is so good that you'll give it your own reward.

Yield: 12 x (approx. 1/4 cup servings)
- 3 large fresh California avocados (about 8 oz each), seeded and peeled
- 1/4 onion, chopped
- 1/2 large clove garlic, crushed
- 1/2 small tomato, diced
- 3 oz low-fat Monterey Jack cheese, grated
- 1 green chili, diced (or to taste)
- 0.17 cup fresh cilantro (1/6 cup), finely chopped
- 1 1/2 Tbsp fresh lime juice
- 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, coarsely mash avocados, leaving some chunks. Add remaining ingredients; mix to blend.
Variations:
Serve with veggie sticks, baked chips, or with Mexican food.
